Tabor
Tabor Winery is highly regarded as a producer of quality wines. Its complete range, include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz wines, are produced from the best vineyards of Kfar Tabor and the Galilee.
The fertile soil of the Lower Galilee provides the perfect environment for many different varieties of grapes. The lush vineyards are only a five-minute drive away from the premises, which proves to be very beneficial to the manufacturing process. The rich soil of the eastern Galilee is characterized by a thin, clay-like, basaltic texture that enables grapevines to store water for long periods of time and prolong the fruit’s maturation period. The winery’s vineyards are planted on moderate inclines with a good drainage system that allows them to spread into rows, perfectly exposed to the sun.
Only the choicest grapes are used in the wine production. After undergoing an aggressive treatment throughout the winter, the grapes that show an optimal ripeness and perfection, and reflect the features of the soil in which they grew, are lovingly picked for the next stage.
The Winery has three different series of wines:
Adama
The Adama series awakens the senses, accompanying you on a sensual journey to the slopes of Mount Tabor – earth that is characterized by a rare combination of chalk, clay, volcanic and terra rosa soils, and bubbling natural springs.
Tabor Mes’ha
The winery’s most praiseworthy series, Tabor Mes’ha is produced from carefully selected, hand-harvested clusters of grapes grown in our high-quality vineyards. Due to the selective harvesting process, only a small quantity of wine is produced every year.
Galil
Galil is the youngest series of the winery. Having aged for four months in oak barrels, each wine is a pure, unblended varietal, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
